THE 2024 STW MUSIC CONCERT
In it’s biggest year to date, The STW Music School Drum Concert found the right formula to run a pretty successful Drum Concert for a local small music business.
The photos on this page are just so some of the moments over the 2 day event, showcasing some of the performers & energy of the room.
It was amazing to see over 15 performers get up on stage, some on them on stage for the first time, and play their favourite song of 2024. A lot of students are already onto their 2025 concert song, so the feedback from this end of year celebration has been amazing!
Thank you for the students who performed over the weekend. Your dedication to the drums, and the "practice" you put in at home, and in each drum lesson was awesome!
Thank you to Aaron Colton for coming on-board as my full time teacher this year, and hitting the ground running. He has brought all these students up to a performing level, with the next step taking them more into the amazing world of drums!
Finally, Thank you to the parents that bring their kids along each week to sit in the waiting room, or the car while their child rocks out in the teaching rooms. It's amazing that your encouragement, patience, and push to get your children to strive to something that isn't always seen as an instrument - more like something that you hit & it goes - boom! Drums are more than that, and thank you for giving your children the opportunity to explore drums & have a hit!
Oh, one more final - CONGRATULATIONS to Nate for winning Student of the Year. His dedication to Drums this year has been beyond 100%, and he walked away with a brand new acoustic drum kit!! what a start to his career!!

The 2023 STW Music Concert
In its 5th year, the STW Music Concert once again showcased the amazing talent of students that attend the STW Drumming music school.
With over 15 students signing on to perform, over 80 patrons in attendance, the concert was an amazing morning for all!
All students that performed, smashed their song out of the park, and showed why putting in the practice, time and patience reaps such reward on the kit!! Performances ranged from the white stripes, to guns n’ roses, to bon jovi, to the left-of-centre songs!

the STW music CONCERT
The STW Music Concert is aimed at inviting students up on stage to perform live in front of an audience! These students are given the chance to perform 1 to 2 songs of their choice, or 1 song and an awesome drum solo!!
Held in October each year, the concert set up has a full working PA, stage lights, a drum riser, and full drum kit - just what it’s like to be on stage performing!
This is an amazing opportunity for any student wishing to pursue music as a career, or to experience the adrenaline ride of performing in front of a crowd.
For those who wish to attend, the concert is open to the public, parents, friends and my student body, to watch students play, and of course - to see their teacher perform a few songs, and solo as well! It is going to be a great day!!

With 20 performers, 80 patrons, just on 100 people in attendance. This was the biggest Concert to date at the STW Drumming Music School!!
