Alex Mills
DRUM TEACHER
Valid Blue Card Holder
Alex is a drummer with a passion for music and teaching. In 2018, Alex was a certified Stunt Performer, however, after multiple injuries, he was faced with the difficult choice to move away from the film industry. It was then that he discovered his deep love for drumming. Alex then began to experience the true power of drums, their ability to heal, and to transform.
They were a source of comfort and strength for him, and as he deepened his journey with the drum, he began to see how they benefitted people around him too. A lifetime of avid music listening was all coming together as he learned more about drumming.
Alex enjoys playing drums to a wide variety of styles including, blues, soul, hip hop, rock and doom; just to name a few. With a fun, creative and compassionate approach to learning drums, Alex is excited to be a part of the STW Drumming school team.
